It’s Self-Care Week at MMOTW, and Kelly and Stacey are here to help you self-care your way through whatever it is you need to work out. But first, we deliver your weekly dose of True Crime - and the very sad, very true story of Helen Mintiks - a talented, young violinist who was murdered at the Metropolitan Opera House. If you’ve never heard of this case, well, you’ve unfortunately heard many just like it: a toxic male who can’t handle rejection retaliates by doing something ghastly. We are SO into our time machine lately, and this week we’re taking you back to the hot summer of 1980 in NYC, where the crime rate was through the roof - and on top of the roof. Fortunately, there were some keen-eyed detectives on the case. Also, whoops. Kelly says Libby was a NYTimes app - but it’s a public library app. Complete with a Teen Banned Book Club!

EPISODE 14: The Murder of Martha Moxley & The Carolyn Besette- Kennedy Phenomenon

Just as we promised, Beauties!! A brand new episode for you. Yes, a little bit behind. However, this week was all about politics and some sort of election, so Kelly and Stacey are nothing if not on theme, so we are keeping things politics-adjacent with this case. We are going back in time again to 1975 and the (unsolved) murder of 15-year-old Martha Moxley. This murder involves some Kennedy cousins who lived in Greenwich, CT. As for our beauty portion? We cannot and will not talk about Greenwich and the Kennedys without talking about the Iconic Carolyn Bessette Kennedy and her timeless beauty and style.

It’s a very special trial-sized episode this week for Kelly and Stacey because we have Next Level Lexus…aka the heroine of last fall’s Tabi Thief drama…and her fashion picks for fall and beyond. Episode 12: The Other Staircase - the Murder of Susann Sills

If you are a doctor, or even if you are not a doctor, you probably know that the Hippocratic Oath is the official doctor promise. Part of that promise is “Do No Harm” - and we’re not sure Dr. Scott Sills understood the assignment. Maybe he missed doctor class that day. This week, Kelly and Stacey have found another staircase with another dead wife at the bottom - and we’re not happy about it, either. We also discovered a website where you can post topless photos when your favorite political candidate wins something. We won’t be signing up for that, but thanks anyway.

Episode 11: Ezra McCandless and the Murder of Alex Woodworth

Ezra McCandless is a free spirit…well maybe not anymore. But she was at one point.
A deep, complicated thinker and tortured artist, pondering all of life’s questions. Is my art speaking to people? Is my nose ring infected? Who is going to pay for my oat milk latte today?
Kelly and Stacey are examining all of these questions and more on this episode of MMOTW. Ezra crossed paths with more than a few men in Eau Claire, Wisconsin at a coffee lounge house called Racy D Lenes. But these paths would eventually form a deadly love “square,”with one of these men losing his life at just 24 years old. We still have so many unanswered questions. BAD ROMANCE: THE CASEY WHITE AND VICKY WHITE STORY

This week, Stacey and Kelly are getting ahead of the upcoming Netflix documentary about Casey White, a violent and dangerous convicted felon, who convinced Vicky White, a sworn-in corrections officer, to take a little road trip with him right out of the clink. Little did anyone know that Casey White and Vicky White carried on an illicit two-year relationship, and hatched a plan to be together without all those pesky, prison restrictions. Their infamous road trip of April 2022 left one of them dead, and the other headed back to the prison he came from. 
 
THEN. We tell you what we have in our GO bags. Hint: We don’t carry the same things as Casey and Vicky because we aren’t fugitives from the law. We like lip gloss and eye drops, thank you very much. Finally - since we have heard from many of you that you want more of the fashion, we take our inspiration from our uniform-wearing friends at correctional facilities across the US, and tell you what we always reach for when we’re getting dressed. We both have jumpsuits but they’re not orange.

Two of these children are now women, and they are the ones who put a stop to this horrific cult and put this man - with many aliases and a lot of criming under his belt - behind bars once and for all.
