It’s a very special trial-sized episode this week for Kelly and Stacey because we have Next Level Lexus…aka the heroine of last fall’s Tabi Thief drama…and her fashion picks for fall and beyond. But first, we take you through some of the worst dates in history - followed by our retelling of the infamous Tabi Thief. It was supposed to be a shorter episode than it is…but there’s a lot of ground to cover in our Maison Margiela Tabi’s. It’s a modern-day parable that illustrates a simple truth: We work hard for our nice things, so keep your criming out of our closets.

Jackets as tops!
Mixing flowy pieces with more structured/harder textiles like dress over jeans.
I’m also all about comfort over everything so I’m still rocking the cool ballet flat lookOne final thing is that I’m sooo happy accessorizing with layers is making a come back. So for example layering short sleeves or tanks over long sleeves and layering multiple belts like the recent miu miu ss 25 show.

If you are a doctor, or even if you are not a doctor, you probably know that the Hippocratic Oath is the official doctor promise. Part of that promise is “Do No Harm” - and we’re not sure Dr. Scott Sills understood the assignment. Maybe he missed doctor class that day. This week, Kelly and Stacey have found another staircase with another dead wife at the bottom - and we’re not happy about it, either. We also discovered a website where you can post topless photos when your favorite political candidate wins something. We won’t be signing up for that, but thanks anyway.
Plus: Evolve with us. We know you are all fashionistas too, beauties, so we are adding more fashion to your feed this week with some fun and easy ways to elevate your look. We know it’s a bad pun, what with the staircase theme and all. But stick with us - the recos are worth it, we promise.

Ezra McCandless is a free spirit…well maybe not anymore. But she was at one point.
A deep, complicated thinker and tortured artist, pondering all of life’s questions. Is my art speaking to people? Is my nose ring infected? Who is going to pay for my oat milk latte today?
Kelly and Stacey are examining all of these questions and more on this episode of MMOTW. Ezra crossed paths with more than a few men in Eau Claire, Wisconsin at a coffee lounge house called Racy D Lenes. But these paths would eventually form a deadly love “square,”with one of these men losing his life at just 24 years old. We still have so many unanswered questions. Like…can you play Dungeons and Dragons on a computer?

This week, Kelly and Stacey head to Utah, where we may have found one of the craziest “secret lives of Mormon wives” in all the land: Kouri Richins, who maybe killed her husband with a Fentanyl-filled Moscow Mule - and then wrote a book about grieving. We think Kouri may have killed her husband for the plot. And some money. This story has it all. Money, Insurance, flippin, flipping houses, poisoned sandwiches, and a crappy cocktail the Moscow mule. Secrets and lies, hidden money, financial infidelity, regular infidelity, you name it! The cherry on top is the book about grief that was written for children, Titled: Are You Still With Me? Whooo boy.
Then we switch gears and talk about Beauty and Fashion, for funerals. Stay with us! Stacey has a tie-in with The Met Gala and the Costume Institute. Some funerals are very public - and we wanted to showcase two very different beauties.

This week, Stacey and Kelly are getting ahead of the upcoming Netflix documentary about Casey White, a violent and dangerous convicted felon, who convinced Vicky White, a sworn-in corrections officer, to take a little road trip with him right out of the clink. Little did anyone know that Casey White and Vicky White carried on an illicit two-year relationship, and hatched a plan to be together without all those pesky, prison restrictions. Their infamous road trip of April 2022 left one of them dead, and the other headed back to the prison he came from.

THEN. We tell you what we have in our GO bags. Hint: We don’t carry the same things as Casey and Vicky because we aren’t fugitives from the law. We like lip gloss and eye drops, thank you very much. Finally - since we have heard from many of you that you want more of the fashion, we take our inspiration from our uniform-wearing friends at correctional facilities across the US, and tell you what we always reach for when we’re getting dressed. We both have jumpsuits but they’re not orange.

This week, Kelly and Stacey introduce you to the worst cult you've never heard of: Lou Castro and his Angels Landing cult. It’s a real potpourri of crimes, including murder, fraud, grooming and unimaginable treatment of children. The good news? Two of these children are now women, and they are the ones who put a stop to this horrific cult and put this man - with many aliases and a lot of criming under his belt - behind bars once and for all. Beauty at 36:00: We also have some cult beauty products. Culty for the best reason. No joining a cult for these, unless its leader works for Sephora.

We’re back, beauties - and this week we’re veering over into the land of fashion to cover the very tragic 1997 murder of legendary fashion designer Gianni Versace. Sadly, this story is full of twists and turns that cover spree killer Andrew Cunanan’s three-months long journey from Minnesota to Miami that left five men dead…and everyone asking why. It’s also almost officially fall - and that means fashion. We’re not experts…but we do know how to make wishlists, and we’re sharing ours with you.

This week, Kelly and Stacey are unveiling our first “trial-sized” episode. Spoiler alert: it’s still longer than we expected. We’re also recapping a weekend in the Hamptons, and everything that entails - including chatter about the very sad, very current story of the Miller family, and how keeping up with the Jones - or really anyone out east - can very quickly spiral out of control. Another spoiler alert: Everything you see on Instagram isn’t exactly what it seems. Finally - of course we have a few beauty recos - things we love and things we tried on our Hamptons weekend getaway.
*This episode deals with death by suicide. If you or anyone you know is in crisis or experiencing suicidal thoughts, there is help. Call or text 988 for help nationwide - or reach out to your local crisis center.*
This is our very first trial-sized episode, so you can grab it on your way to checkout at Sephora. Do you need it? No. But you pick it up anyway to try it out and then you go full on full sized immediately cause it is awesome.

This week, Kelly and Stacey are nostalgic and emotional over TV shows of years gone by. We mourn Shannen Doherty, and two of our favorite shows that would never have been the same without her: 90210 and Little House on the Prairie. Then, we unpack the untimely and very heartbreaking murder of a rising 80s TV starlet: Rebecca Schaeffer. Her death was the catalyst for some of the anti-stalking laws we now have in place - but we also offer some additional resources, because - spoiler - you don’t have to be famous to be a victim of stalking. Finally, we lighten things up with some tips for how to get your most epic hair ever. We have lots of great products on the list - including a new-ish line by an A-list TV actress known for many things…especially a certain haircut.

What are we thinking? This week, Kelly and Stacey join the legions of other podcasts that have taken on the Karen Read Murder Trial - but with our own twist. We attempt to unpack how this little case from outside of BAH-ston became a nail-biting, courthouse flash-mobbing national obsession. We also examine Karen Read’s courtroom style, and wonder who paid for all that designer drip. Finally, in the dog days of summer, we have some recos for hot-weather make-up that stays on your face when you need to keep your cool. Like if you are on trial for murder - or just dealing with your kids.
Please note: This episode’s focus is about the ongoing and extensive coverage around the Karen Read murder trial that has riveted the entire nation for months - and our opinions on how this public fascination spread like wildfire - throughout the mainstream media, social media and even activist media. It is not about the legal intricacies of the case - nor is it really about the tragic event.  The death of Officer John O’Keefe is heartbreaking - no matter how it may have unfolded. He - and his children - deserve justice. Period.
